IT SUPPORT & TRAINING

IT support and training
for teams that can’t afford downtime.

A reliable IT person on call, without hiring one full-time. Remote and on-site support, email and Wi-Fi setup, backups, security, and hands-on training for your staff.

IN SHORT

Aoenix provides IT support and IT training to small businesses, NGOs, churches and schools in Ghana. Support plans start from about GHS 800 a month and cover computers, email, Wi-Fi, printers, backups, security and software, by remote access and on-site visits in Accra, Kumasi, Koforidua, Sunyani and Takoradi. Training sessions in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Excel, data entry, cybersecurity awareness and practical AI tools start from about GHS 1,200 per half-day session.

  • Schools and churches with computer labs, projectors and shared Wi-Fi
  • Clinics, law firms and accounting practices with sensitive data to protect
  • Teams that want staff to use Excel, email and AI tools properly

MADE FOR GHANA

Support that understands Ghanaian offices

  • Power: surge protectors, UPS advice and settings that stop a power cut corrupting your files.
  • Data costs: we set up systems to use less data and work when the internet is slow.
  • Mobile Money fraud and phishing: staff training on the scams targeting Ghanaian businesses right now.
  • Shared and second-hand machines: we get the most out of the computers you have before recommending new ones.
  • Response times in Ghana time: WhatsApp support Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, Saturday by arrangement.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does IT support cost in Ghana?

Pay-as-you-go support costs about GHS 150 for a remote fix and GHS 250 to 600 for an on-site visit in Accra. Monthly support plans cost about GHS 800 to 1,500 for a small office of up to 10 staff and GHS 1,500 to 3,500 for teams of 10 to 30. Plans include unlimited remote support, scheduled visits, backups and security. This is far cheaper than a full-time IT employee for most small organisations.

Do you offer remote IT support?

Yes. Most problems are fixed remotely using secure screen-sharing, usually within the hour during working hours. For hardware, networking and new setups we visit on site in Accra, Kumasi, Koforidua, Sunyani and Takoradi, and can travel elsewhere in Ghana by arrangement.

Can you set up professional email on our domain?

Yes. We set up Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 on your own domain (for example [email protected]), migrate existing mail from Gmail or Yahoo, configure phones and laptops, and set up spam and spoofing protection so your emails reach donors and customers.

What IT training do you offer?

Our most requested sessions are Excel for office work, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace essentials, email and cybersecurity awareness, data entry and record keeping, and practical AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot) for writing, summarising and reporting. Sessions are hands-on, half a day, for up to 15 people, delivered at your office or online. We also train staff on the systems we build.

Can you train our staff to use AI tools safely?

Yes. Our AI tools session covers what these tools are good at, where they go wrong, how to write a useful prompt, and simple rules for protecting client and beneficiary data. Staff leave with templates for the tasks they actually do, such as drafting letters, summarising reports and cleaning data.

Do you provide backups and protection against viruses and ransomware?

Yes. Every support plan includes automatic cloud backups that we test, antivirus on every machine, two-factor authentication on email, and staff awareness of the phishing and Mobile Money scams common in Ghana. Recovery from a lost or infected laptop is then a matter of hours, not weeks.

Do we have to sign a long contract?

No. Support plans are month to month and can be cancelled with one month’s notice. Pay-as-you-go needs no contract at all.

Can you help us buy the right computers and equipment?

Yes. We advise on laptops, printers, routers and UPS units that suit your budget and the Ghanaian power and dust conditions, and we can source them from reputable suppliers in Accra at no mark-up to you.
